Description:
Are you currently a Clinical Nurse Specialist, or ready for a step up to a specialist role? We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated nurse to join our MS Nursing Team. The successful candidate will be an experienced nurse with the ability to demonstrate strong clinical leadership and Trust values in all they do.
Our MS service provides care to patients and their families throughout the course of their illness. We work as partners with our patients and with the wider medical and allied health profession teams in nurse-led outpatient and virtual clinics. We also work with patients who are admitted to the in-patient wards and our dedicated day care infusion unit, either for infusion-based treatments or for rehabilitation.
We look forward to welcoming our new Band 7 nurse to participate in the core work of the team which includes the management of treatment pathways, symptom management and health promotion. Recent treatment advances have transformed the outlook for people living with MS and this role presents a unique opportunity to be involved and influence the new patient pathways.
We are proud of our record of delivering high quality safe care within a robust clinical governance framework. We are able to offer you the opportunity to develop your skills and competencies as a clinical nurse specialist, both though our in-house development programme and in collaboration with the MS Trust and MS Academy.
