Description:
WOUND CARE CLINICAL NURSE SPECIALIST
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced registered nurse to join the innovative and passionate Community Health Service. We are looking for a Wound Care Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS) to join our team.
This senior nursing role will work in an interdisciplinary way to provide clinical expertise, education and leadership for the District Nurses and the wider health care team. The CNS will support care coordination for patients with complex wounds within our community.
This position is highly autonomous and enables you to apply your practical nursing knowledge, assessment, and case management skills. The Wound Care CNS will support patients and their whaanau in a goal centred approach to support their health needs.
This role will require:
- Excellent communication interpersonal and leadership skills
- Innovative and creative clinical nursing practice that is validated with evidence based best practice
- A strong commitment and genuine interest in quality service delivery.
- The ability to communicate effectively with all levels of staff and develop relevant networks.
This position is a Core Children’s worker under the Children’s Act & requires full safety checks completed before any new employee starts
