Description:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative, motivated and enthusiastic Clinical Psychologist/ Psychological Therapist interested in working in Acute Adult Inpatient settings. The ideal individual would join our already skilled and motivated multidisciplinary teams based at Lynfield Mount Hospital and/or Airedale Centre for Mental Health.
The post holder will be a pathway lead over one of our two inpatient sites. The successful applicant must have a strong commitment to multi-disciplinary working. The post holder‘s primary roles are:
To provide psychological assessment, formulation and evidence based psychological interventions for individuals and families.
To provide consultation, training, and support to other professionals though formal and informal interventions such as facilitation of reflective practice and case discussion.
Experience of working with people with severe and complex mental health difficulties is essential.

Your clinical and managerial supervision will be supported by the Consultant Clinical/Practitioner Psychologist/Psychological Therapist and Clinical Lead for Acute Inpatient Services.
The successful candidate will be experienced working with people with complex mental health needs and familiar with working through a trauma informed lens to understand what has happened to people and ways to alleviate their distress.
