Description:

The Clinical Professional Development Representative supports the implementation of clinical professional development initiatives to enhance organizational effectiveness and regulatory compliance. This role assists in coordinating training programs for new hires, staff members, healthcare students, and faculty. The Representative helps maintain professional development software systems, including the learning management system and collaborative partner databases. They support financial tracking, aid in program evaluation and improvement efforts, and assist in collaborations with other departments and external partners. This position focuses on providing administrative and logistical support to the Clinical Professional Development team in delivering effective clinical professional development programs. 1 year experience in developing and facilitating education sessions preferred but not required.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent
Licensure/Certification: BLS within one month of hire and BLS instructor by one year of hire.

Responsibilities:

  • Clinical professional development programs
  • Coordinates and implements clinical professional development programs and orientation for new staff, existing staff, community members, and external partners.
  • Assists in conducting surveys and gathering data for clinical professional development needs and program effectiveness.
  • Utilizes software systems specific to professional development such as the learning management system and hospital approved collaborative partner databases.
  • Quality
  • Assists maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements through accurate record keeping, paperwork, storage of files, and reporting.
  • Adheres to hospital regulatory requirement policies.
  • Gathers data for evaluation activities.
  • Incorporates current clinical professional development best practices and emerging trends.
  • Performs quality assurance measures for equipment maintenance.
  • Collaboration & Partnership
  • Utilizes skilled oral, written, and electronic communication to communicate timely and effectively to stakeholders.
  • Provides excellent customer service.
  • Assists in scheduling healthcare training programs based on stakeholder requests.
  • Assists with department specific programs.
  • Promotes and advertises clinical professional development opportunities as requested.
  • Supports teamwork and a collaborative work experience.
  • Supports and assists with implementation of inclusive programs that address diverse learning need
