Clinical Psychologist (Locum)
Job Title: Locum Clinical Psychologist (4-Month Contract)
Department: Medical Operations
Reporting to: Chief Medical Officer
Location: 256 Petgrave Street, Murtala Muhammed Way, Alagomeji, Yaba, Lagos
Work Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Clinical Psychologist for a locum position within our Medical Operations department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing psychological assessments, therapy, and interventions to our patients, working closely with the Chief Medical Officer and other medical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients.
Provide psychotherapy to individuals, couples, and groups.
Collaborate with medical professionals to ensure integrated care.
Monitor and document patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
Participate in team meetings and case conferences.
Qualifications:
A Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Psychology.
Current licensure to practice as a Clinical Psychologist in Nigeria.
Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience CBT focused, evidenced-based approaches.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
Continued commitment to learning evidence-based best practices for mental, emotional and behavioral disorders.
Strictly adhere to NACP and security regulations to protect clients’ health information
Commitment to measurement-based care
Tech-savviness and enthusiasm for integrating digital solutions into psychotherapy
High degree of responsivity and willingness to collaborate with Health Connect 24x7 team of clinical and tech team
Excellent written therapeutic feedback skills
