At Active Care Group, we believe that recovery is more than just a physical processit’s about rediscovering the passions that define us. Take Andrew, for example. After an Acute Ischaemic Stroke in March 2023, his future as an artist and tutor seemed uncertain. But through the compassionate care and support he received at Blackheath Brain Injury Rehabilitation Centre, Andrew not only regained his strength but also reignited his love for art, even holding an exhibition on the ward. His journey culminated in ringing the Recovery Bell, symbolising his triumph over adversity.
