Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

Ward/Dept: West Berkshire Community Mental Health Team
Hours: 37.5 hours
Shift Pattern: Mon – Fri 9.00-5.00pm
Pay Rates – Day: £27.01

RESPONSIBILITIES OF THIS JOB ROLE:

• Liaise with the CMHT and coordinate care as may be appropriate for clients
• Operate as the Lead Professional for the clients on their caseload and deliver expert assessments (including risk assessments), formulations and psychological treatments
• Work within evidence-based frameworks and the principles of recovery to support clients and reduce dependence on secondary care mental health services
• Provide support to Staff within the IPT and the CMHT and participate in clinical quality assurance and learning programmes
• Be aware of and keep updated on research and advances in psychological therapies

TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN APPLYING FOR THIS ROLE YOU WILL NEED:

· Qualification in Mental Health Nursing
· HCPC registration mandatory
· Effective and competent interpersonal, influencing, communication, observation and reporting skills
· Candidate should be able to drive and own a car for work purposes.

IN ADDITION TO EXPERIENCE, ALL QUALIFIED ROLES WILL BE REQUIRED TO PROVIDE EVIDENCE OF
