Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust provides child and adult mental health services, learning disability, wellbeing, older people’s and eating disorder services across Norfolk and Suffolk.

Do you have skills in working with systems, in considering models of developmental trauma, attachment and therapeutic parenting? MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
Supporting Suffolk’s Children’s Homes: The work within Suffolk County Council’s Children’s Homes will involve a focus on embedding a trauma and psychologically informed culture in the homes across Suffolk. The success of the pilot in 2021 has contributed to a permanent funding agreement for the Clinical Psychology role and the continued passion and support from colleagues in the homes and SCC for the post. The role involves an exciting opportunity to embed a trauma and psychologically informed culture across multi-layers of the system such as facilitating reflective practice groups, training and formulation sessions for staff and working with the management team to review and embed practice developments such as the assessment, formulation and support of young people’s behavioural, emotional, safety and relational needs.
