REQUIREMENTS:
Experience: Prior experience in research within an NHS setting is essential; experience in oncology is highly desirable.
Skills: Excellent communication skills, a sound understanding of complex scientific protocols, and the ability to work autonomously.
Attributes: A mature attitude, leadership skills, and the ability to use initiative are essential for this role.

Responsibilities:
Collaborative Work: Partner with the clinical team and wider multi-disciplinary team to manage your own caseload effectively.
Patient Engagement: Identify, recruit, educate, and monitor patients participating in research, ensuring their well-being and adherence to study protocols.
Data Management: Accurately collate and document data in a timely manner to support research integrity and progress.
Clinical Trials Management: Oversee a portfolio of clinical trials, contributing to the assessment and management of patient care pathways.
Resource Role: Act as a knowledgeable resource for staff, researchers, research participants, and patients, ensuring compliance with local, national, and international research regulations.
Policy Development: Contribute to the development of local policies related to all aspects of the research process.
Training and Supervision: Assist in the training and supervision of staff and researchers.
