EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • Medical related degree or other Bachelor’s degree
  • Outstanding academic qualification
  • 3 to 5 years’ experience in the health care industry
  • At least 5 years’ experience in strategic role
  • Practical knowledge of value-based care methodologies
  • Understanding of underlying care delivery process
  • Strong commercial and analytical acumen to be able to develop, guide implementation and track value-based care initiatives
  • Ability to work collaboratively with analytical teams – advantageous.
  • Sound up to date knowledge of the SA Private Healthcare environment and the primary factors influencing / impacting on the business model.
  • Experience managing high performance teams.

COMPUTER KNOWLEDGE

  • Skilled working with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Outlook knowledge essential
  • Data tools e.g. PowerBI

Responsibilities:

Developing a vision, design (model, benefits, partners, build (including operational delivery and systems), delivery roadmap, monitoring and scaling of selected healthcare delivery, Value-Based Care (VBC) and digital transformation initiatives aligned to the SRM and wider organisational strategy. Engagement with health providers, senior industry bodies and thought leaders with regard to care delivery transformation. Has the authority, accountability, and responsibility to manage specific healthcare delivery transformation initiatives to achieve specific objectives.
