Responsibilities

ABOUT THE ROLE

Applications are invited for a new academic post at Senior Lecturer (clinical) level to be based jointly between Imperial College’s School of Public Health (SPH) and the Department of Metabolism Digestion and Reproduction /Division of Digestive Diseases in the Faculty of Medicine. The post will be situated within the MRC Centre for Global Infectious Disease Analysis within the Department of Infectious Disease Epidemiology.

WHAT YOU WOULD BE DOING

The postholder will play a key role in the development of research programmes in hepatology and public health aligned with one or more of the MRC Centre’s priority research areas:

  • Preparedness and Response to Emerging Threats
  • Global Health Analytics
  • Vaccines and Therapeutics
  • Pathogen Genomic Epidemiology

The post involves both research and teaching responsibilities. The postholder will play a key role in the development of world-leading research programmes in their area of expertise.
