RESPONSIBLE FOR:
To lead on the design, delivery and quality assurance of the CCA (formerly called OSCEs) within year 1 / year 2 of the MB ChB Programme. The post-holder will work closely alongside the MB ChB Y1-2 Assessment Lead and Y1/Y2 Teaching & Learning Academic Leads to ensure alignment between assessment and curriculum.
The overall responsibility of the Lead for Y1-2 CCAs is to ensure the effective design and delivery of the CCA and resit CCA that assess learning from year 1 and year 2, in line with the requirements of the programme specification and any requirement of the GMC as our external regulator. In executing this responsibility, the Lead for Y1-2 CCAs will be supported by other programme teams with related responsibilities.
