Description:
Join our team as a Clinical Service Advisor and play a key role in providing high-quality, remote healthcare. This position focuses on delivering patient-centred, compassionate care. You will offer crucial self-care advice and health information to patients with minor clinical conditions. When necessary, you will escalate or refer cases, ensuring patients receive timely, appropriate care and their well-being is safeguarded.
Working with the NHS Pathways system, a clinical decision-making tool, you will provide clear, evidence-based guidance while managing internal escalations or referrals to emergency care when needed. This integration of technology supports informed, timely decisions while ensuring smooth collaboration with the broader healthcare team. Your efforts will help maintain the high standards of care that define our service, ensuring patients receive the attention and guidance they need.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals dedicated to clinical excellence and continuous development. You will join a team that values collaboration, integrity, and a shared commitment to delivering outstanding healthcare. With varied, autonomous work that directly impacts patient outcomes, this role offers both professional growth and the chance to make a real difference in healthcare.
As a Clinical Service Advisor, you will be crucial in patient care, providing accurate advice using NHS Pathways assessments. After verifying the initial evaluations, you will offer tailored guidance to address patients’ immediate concerns, ensuring a smooth and safe care process. Your attention to detail will help identify any deterioration, escalate cases when needed, and ensure swift emergency responses for critical conditions.
In addition to your clinical responsibilities, you will contribute to maintaining service quality and safety. This includes addressing clinical issues, complaints, and feedback according to local policies and actively participating in audits to continually improve care. You will also be responsible for safeguarding vulnerable patients, ensuring confidentiality, and following information governance standards.
Working alongside the Clinical Management team, you will help refine clinical advice and processes. You will investigate clinical incidents, assess risks, and prepare reports to address potential issues. Furthermore, you will support the provision of clinical data for external assessments, ensuring high standards of service.
If you are passionate about patient safety, clinical excellence, professional growth and making a real difference in healthcare – we would love to hear from you.
