Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
Temporary, Exempt, Full Time, Benefited position through 6/30/2025 (Appointment may be renewed annually based upon availability of funds, availability of work and satisfactory job performance).
Salary: $6500.00-$7687.50 per month
Location: Based out of the four San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department jail facilities and the FAITHS Throughcare Program community site, involving fieldwork under various conditions.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Education: A Master’s degree from an accredited institution in behavioral science, human services, social work, counseling, psychology, public health administration, business/public administration, hospital administration, or closely related field of study.
- Experience: Pre-Licensed as an LMFT or LCSW with less than 500 hours required for licensure, and a minimum of 3 year of related experience
- Other:
- Ability to conduct risk and diagnostic assessment of biopsychosocial conditions
- Experience with crisis intervention and stabilization and case management.
- Knowledge of substance abuse disorder and related issues.
- A strong background in child development, parenting, and developmentally appropriate, positive child guidance.
- Ability to work with a diverse population including communication with people from diverse cultures, ethnic backgrounds, socio-economic levels, and educational levels.
- Ability to work in a team setting.
- Ability to handle multiple work priorities, organize work projects and complete them in a timely manner.
- Safe driving record and valid drivers license.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience working with justice-involved individuals and families.
