Description:
About Us: Fairlie Healthcare Group is a leading provider of high-quality care which was established in 1999. We specialise in caring for adults with neurological conditions, as well as patients with tracheostomies, and who require ventilator support. We currently have three homes, Fairlie House which is in West Norwood with 45 beds, Highfield House which is located in Purley with 45 beds and finally, Woodstown House in Banstead with 40 beds, which opened its doors to its first residents in April 2021. All three homes have achieved the highest rating from the Care Quality Commission, and we continually strive to maintain our Outstanding rating.
Scope To support the Centre Director in ensuring outstanding care is delivered to Patients in line with best practice and the Fairlie Healthcare Groups Core Values and Values Framework, ensuring Patients are treated with compassion, kindness, dignity and respect. To support the Clinical Matrons to ensure they are empowered and enabled to manage their allocated clinical area effectively. To collate clinical information for quality and dashboarding purposes, ensuring accuracy and integrity of clinical data. To provide out-of-hours support, (based on the management on call rota) to the Centre, including weekend working as per agreed local arrangements.
Coordinating the MDT to ensure defined and assessed needs of patients are met, in line with evidence based practice and defined in the Patients Care Plan and to effectively manage clinical risk. To provide nursing leadership to the qualified nursing staff, acting as a role model and encouraging service development in relation to nursing practice. To be aware of Patient clinical dependencies and build effective partnership relationships with Patients and their significant others. Ensuring clinical areas are safely staffed in respect of skill mix, competency and numbers of staff with regarding to Patient dependencies, clinical risk and appropriate resource allocation as per the Centres agreed Establishment Hours.
What do I need to be successful? Registered Nurse (RN1) with active NMC registration Understanding of NMC Code of Professional Conduct Proficiency in dispensing and administrating oral medication The ability of managing and prioritising conflicting workloads Enthusiasm for and belief in patient healthcar
