Description:
Abbott Vascular are recruiting for a Clinical Specialist to join our Coronary team in the Republic of Ireland!
The Clinical Specialist will provide operational support during procedures as well as training to support strategic, operational and quality objectives within the assigned territory (ideal candidates would be located between Cork and Dublin).
What you will do:
- Play a role in supporting and driving employee and customer clinical training and sign-off. Participate in creating bespoke training programs based on customer needs and requirements.
- Maintain up to date technical knowledge of current and new Abbott therapies and technologies as well as a general understanding of the dynamics of the country healthcare market. Also maintain up-to-date knowledge of clinical studies to consistently support Abbott product advantages.
- Support Physicians during clinical procedures. Provides primary technical support to physician and nurses during procedures. Escalate with more senior colleagues as and when required.
- Support product implementation plans and customer education.
- Conduct product presentations and respond to technical questions that might be raised.
What you will need:
- A BSc degree in a relevant discipline.
- Prior experience in a Cath lab clinical role or similar.
- Strong Cardiac Anatomy & Physiology knowledge.
- Familiarity with cath lab and operating room procedures and protocol.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- A highly motivated individual, with a willingness to travel extensively.
