Description:
Due to investment within our Neonatal service, we are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Neonatal Dietitian to become our Clinical Specialist at NUH.
You will be working closely with our AHP colleagues in Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy and Physiotherapy, as well as the wider MDT to deliver a comprehensive Neonatal service.
This post supports both our in-patient Neonatal units at QMC and City campus where you will be required to work cross-site.
You will have a small Out-patient caseload, but as the role and service develops, there will be opportunity for this to grow further.
As part of the wider Childrens Dietetic Therapy team, you will support Bank Holiday rotas as required.

As the Clinical Specialist you will be required to support the team with teaching and training as well as managing and providing expert specialist Dietetic interventions within your own Neonatal caseload.
You will support service improvement work within the Trust and across the Nottinghamshire Integrated Care System.
You will be committed to education and research, and will support these advanced role pillars by optimising clinical audits and research, and supporting the translation of research into practice in Neonatal Dietetics.
You will be expected to work collaboratively with the Therapy and Rehabilitation Directorate leadership team as well as the Neonatal management team, to ensure adherence to national guidelines, best therapy practice, and employ an evidence-based approach to implement service development.
To provide clinical leadership within the specialist Neonatal Dietetic service.
To maintain and develop high standards of patient care and facilitate and implement evidence based practice.
To develop local pathways of care for Neonatal Dietitians, by establishing collaborative links locally and nationally with other specialist practitioners, and disseminate information and developments.
Ensure OP waiting list targets are maintained by initiating and developing new ways of working.
