Description:

  • Support the clinical development and education, manage inventory and equipment, and customer education programs pertinent to Medtronic defined products and technology. Support the implementation of policies and procedures and participate in all facets of clinical and operational decision-making pertaining to the programs of the organizational unit. Train and educate investigators/customers on proper use of the Medtronic product and technology.

KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Associate degree, or;
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A Bachelor’s degree and currently enrolled in a certificate program from a pacing school like ATI or PrepMD.

JOB EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 6 years of work experience in the healthcare or engineering field, with a High School Diploma or GED, or
  • Minimum 4 years of work experience in the healthcare or engineering field, with an Associate degree, or;
  • Minimum of 2 years of work experience in the healthcare or engineering field, with a bachelor’s degree, or;
  • Minimum 3 years of any prior professional experience, with a bachelor’s degree and currently enrolled in a certificate program from a pacing school like ATI or PrepMD.

JOB EXPERIENCE

  • Background in Nursing Education or tech would beneficial
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare related Sales and/or Marketing experience
  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare system (National, Provincial and/or Regional level)
  • Medical device experience

SKILLS/COMPETENCIES

  • Ability to develop and present educational programs and/or workshops
  • Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures
  • Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities
  • Knowledge of adult education and communication principles and practices
  • Outstanding interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate and work effectively within a diverse community.

  • Advanced knowledge and understanding of nursing and/or medical principles, methods, and procedures

  • Working knowledge of conflict resolution and mediation principles and techniques
  • Must have a valid driver’s license with no restrictions.

    Salary Range: 77k-115k
