The Community Chronic Pain service is a multi-disciplinary team of expert chronic pain clinicians who support people with persistent pain to develop self-management strategies to manage their chronic pain.
This service is provided in a variety of clinic and community settings and also virtually. It is tailored to meet patient needs and can be delivered in group settings, 1:1 clinics and also within the secure (prison) environment.
The service runs Introductory Pain Groups and Pain Management Programmes aimed at supporting those with non-malignant persistent pain across the community.
As a Band 7 Clinical Specialist Physiotherapist you will have highly developed musculoskeletal skills and the additional expertise required to meet the specific and complex needs of people living with persistent pain.
Our aim is to help individuals to improve their quality of life and reduce their dependency on healthcare services and medication. The service operates from Monday to Friday, 9:00am- 5:00pm.
