Description:
Orion Animal Health is looking for a proactive and solution oriented Clinical Study Manager to a team responsible for animal health clinical projects.

DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
Your main responsibilities as the Clinical Study Manager are to lead and coordinate clinical studies in veterinary pharmaceutical development projects.
You will be participating in clinical study protocol planning and writing clinical study information given to study animal owners and designing owner diaries as applicable.
In addition, you need to keep the clinical team and other stakeholders from R&D (Research and Development) informed.
You are a key player in coordinating and collaborating with clinical CROs. In studies conducted in Finland, you will be responsible for management and monitoring of the study locally.
This is a permanent position based in Finland, Turku or Espoo.
DESCRIPTION OF UNIT
This position is situated in the Animal Health Clinical Development, which belongs to the Animal Health R&D organization within Orion AH. In this small and dynamic cross-functional Clinical Development team we have experts from different areas needed for clinical studies.
REQUIREMENTS
To be successful in this role, you should have the following educational and professional work experiences:
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in, e.g. life sciences, (veterinary) medicine or nursing science
- 5-7 years of experience in clinical study management (including budgeting and budget follow-up), experience in animal health clinical studies is an advantage
- Thorough understanding of GCP requirements
- Good co-operation skills, but also capability to work independently
- Readiness to take responsibility and willingness to develop processes further
- Excellent communication skills in Finnish and English
- Good networking and stakeholder management skills
- Pro-active and solution-oriented and have a hands-on mentality
- Good skills in IT systems
- Willingness to travel on a regular basis within Finland
