Description:
The Norfolk & Waveney Under 18 Eating Disorders Service are looking to recruit a friendly and experienced Clinical Administrator to support the Eating Disorders Intensive Treatment Team (EDITT). This role would suit somebody who is outgoing and confident, with the organisational skills to manage their own workload to support the needs of the service.
Based at the Lighthouse Centre in the beautiful Hellesdon Hospital grounds, duties include greeting service users and their families, responding to enquiries over telephone and e-mail, processing referrals, maintaining patient records, generating letters, producing documentation, taking and distributing minutes, and placing food and supplies orders. Each day is different, and there may be a requirement for management support and data work. The EDITT service is in the early stages of expansion, so the role will also involve administrative tasks related to this exciting project.
You will be joining a multi-disciplinary team of skilled professionals that are passionate about supporting children and young people with eating disorders, aided by a small group of dedicated administrators, in a positive and sociable working environment. If you are interested in learning more about the role or the team, please email jennifer.glas@nsft.nhs.uk or amy.moore@nsft.nhs.uk .
The role will come with opportunities to develop your learning and career prospects; please see “Working for your Organisation” for further information.
You will need to demonstrate exceptional interpersonal skills with a dedication to confidentiality and service user experience.
Customer service skills and full administration experience will be essential for this role. Audio typing skills would be beneficial as our Consultants may use digital audio equipment for their correspondence from time to time. The post hold will also be expected to attend meetings as required, take minutes to a high standard and follow up on any actions as necessary.
You will be joining a dedicated friendly team. A working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages, including Word, Excel and Outlook will be essential. Knowledge of the Trust system Lorenzo would be an advantage but is not essential as full training will be provided.
Essential criteria: Previous administration experience, use of ICT applications/packages. Experience of working in a busy office and extensive knowledge of all Microsoft packages. Experience of using digital dictation for medic letters is desired, but training will be given. Diary management and minute taking skills are essential.
