Description:
Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust provides child and adult mental health services, learning disability, wellbeing, older people’s and eating disorder services across Norfolk and Suffolk.

JOB DESCRIPTION/PERSON SPECIFICATION

APPLICANT REQUIREMENTS
The postholder will have access to vulnerable people in the course of their normal duties and as such this post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (Amendment) (England and Wales) Order 2020 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service to check for any previous criminal convictions
Responsibilities:
MAIN DUTIES:
- Organisation of Care Programme Approach (CPA) meetings.
- Minuting of CPA meetings and ward rounds.
- Audio typing.
- Liaison with other teams and departments regarding admissions, transfers and discharges.
- Scanning of handwritten forms / assessments into the Electronic Patient Record (Lorenzo).
In addition the role will include:
- Engaging with clinical staff in the ward’s Quality Improvement projects.
Preferably candidates will have at least one year of recent administration experience. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is essential and applicants will ideally have attained RSA II typing qualifications, ECDL (European Computer Driving Licence) or equivalent. Time management skills are needed in order to organise own workload and cope with shifting priorities and deadlines.
