Description:

Are you wanting to take the next step in your career then the Clinical Support Trainer may be the role for you.
.The successful candidate will be involved in the induction, education, training and development of non-registered staff.
We need people who work to a high standard and deliver excellent patient care – a positive role model with an understanding of the needs of the workforce. The role will be predominantly clinical with some administration time for documenting meetings, marking Care Certificates, and other duties necessary to the role.
You will need to show evidence of supporting colleagues / new starters and also have experience in teaching/training. You will need to demonstrate that you can build effective working relationships and possess excellent listening and observation skills.
The areas covered are listed below and you will work predominantly at city campus working across specialities.
HCOP / Stroke / Respiratory / Cardiology

You will work as a key member of the team alongside the ward managers and clinical educators to support a robust induction process for non-registered staff across services at both QMC and City hospital. Alongside this you will support the acquisition of clinical skills for the existing non-registered workforce and enable them to provide safe and effective care alongside the wider multi-disciplinary team.
To provide education, training , development and support to Health Care Assistants within the Division
Supporting new starters to the Trust with their transition in to healthcare
Role model
Supporting staff complete the appropriate Working in New Ways packages
Care Certificate completion for all HCA staff
Produce and present monthly reports to the leadership team
