Norfolk and Suffolk NHS Foundation Trust provides child and adult mental health services, learning disability, wellbeing, older people’s and eating disorder services across Norfolk and Suffolk.

MAIN DUTIES OF THE JOB
As a Clinical Support Worker you will support the fostering of personal strengths and skills in those you work with; working alongside and moving the service user into an area where they feel they are leading happier and healthy lives. You will be passionate about the ‘voice’ of those we work with and their supporters; building relationships and building relationships with the wider networks in supporting growth and development of the service.
Main duties include caring for the service users physical, psychological, social, spiritual, cultural and recreational needs within a defined care programme.
Undertake the Care Certificate within the first 12 weeks of employment – or have an existing qualification agreed as meeting wholly or partially the standards of the Care Certificate.
DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION AND MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
National Standards for Early Intervention in Psychosis Services anticipate that those experiencing and identified first episode of psychosis will begin treatment within two weeks of being referred, the service aims to develop a good relationship with people who use the service and to meet service users wherever they feel comfortable and will work with them to reduce any distress the symptoms may be causing. You will have a good background knowledge of the impact of stress and how developing positive coping strategies with service users can help reduce future episodes of psychosis.
