As a healthcare provider, it is very important to us that our staff have the annual flu jab and are fully vaccinated against COVID 19. Hours: 12 hours per week, usually worked 3 out of 7 days, to include weekends and bank holidays
Our retail outlets provide 29% of much-needed income to the hospice. This is vital to be able to provide care to the people of North Derbyshire. The hospice has seventeen retail shops, one furniture warehouse, one donation centre, two clearance shops and two coffee shops. We also have an online eBay/Amazon platform and an online furniture store. It’s a big operation!
We are looking for a Clothing Sales Assistant to join our Hasland retail team.
This job role is hard work, enormous fun, hugely satisfying and very fascinating. This is a job that doesn’t have that Monday morning feeling, and you will go home feeling happy that you did a great job for an amazing charity! The main responsibilities include:

• To implement any promotion in the shop as directed.
• To support the training, development and motivation of a team of staff and volunteers.
• Maintain high standards of shop display and cleanliness.
• Encourage public donations and manage daily stock tasks (sorting, pricing, rotating)
• Implement shop promotions as instructed.
• Supervise volunteers, including recruitment, training, and support.
• Handle cash, complete administrative paperwork, and ensure financial procedures are followed.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and report any issues, including suspected theft.
