Description:

THE EXPERIENCE YOU BRING:

To thrive in this role, you’ll need a strong foundation in cloud technologies, particularly Azure, with a deep understanding of networking concepts (think VNETs, subnets, DNS, and WAF). You’ll have experience with scripting languages like Terraform and PowerShell and be comfortable working with Azure DevOps Pipelines (YAML) to automate builds and deployments. Familiarity with both Windows and Linux systems is crucial.
If you have experience with containerization, security tooling, or database technologies like SQL Server and Azure SQL, you’ll find plenty of opportunities to apply that knowledge here. And if you’ve worked with Ansible, Bash, or Python, even better-you’ll be able to bring even more automation and efficiency to the platform.

Responsibilities:

  • Engage directly with systems and tools to develop the necessary infrastructure and automation.
  • Collaborate across different business units, building services for both internal teams and external customers.
  • Work closely with the Cloud Operations team to deploy and maintain scalable and resilient infrastructure.
  • Utilize automation frameworks built by the Platform Engineering team to improve usability and efficiency.
  • Evaluate and integrate new tools as the team evolves and grows.
  • Focus heavily on development work, with a goal of refining and extending automation processes.
  • Explore new tools and solutions to further enhance productivity.
  • Document your work to ensure efficient knowledge transfer and future maintenance.
