Description:
Role Summary
Morgan Stanley is seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer with a minimum of 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles. This position is ideal for a professional with extensive knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP, and experience in building and maintaining infrastructure using Terraform. The candidate should be adept at automating CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and possess strong scripting skills. This role demands excellent problem-solving abilities and effective communication skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and manage cloud solutions on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Develop infrastructure as code (IaC) using Terraform to ensure reproducible environments across different stages.
- Automate CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, enhancing the speed and reliability of deployment processes.
- Ensure cloud architectures are optimized for security, performance, and cost.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in cloud environments.
- Contribute to the enhancement of monitoring and operation strategies.
Required Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cloud engineering or DevOps roles.
- Proven experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Extensive experience with Terraform for infrastructure-as-code on Azure, AWS, or GCP.
- Strong understanding of Jenkins for automating CI/CD pipelines.
- Solid grasp of cloud architecture, networking, security, and monitoring.
- Proficiency in scripting languages/markup languages such as Python, Bash, or YAML/JSON.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proficiency in collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Relevant certifications in Google/Azure/AWS Professional Cloud DevOps Engineer, Terraform Certification.
The pay range that the employer in good faith reasonably expects to pay for this position is $29.12/hour - $45.51/hour. Our benefits include medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits. Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis
