Summary
For the area “Compute / Storage / Backup /Data Base Management” we are looking for a “Cloud Engineer (f/m/d)” at the Ulm location as soon as possible.
HENSOLDT IM (Information Management) forms the global IT of the HENSOLDT Group. With scalable and flexible architectures and business-oriented IT solutions, we enable the growth targets of the HENSOLDT Group. We provide innovative digital solutions for HENSOLDT’s product portfolio and processes.
The “Infrastructure and Cloud Services” division is responsible for the design, provision and operation of the server and network infrastructure as well as for company-wide communication at the various locations and in the cloud. For specific projects, some of which are classified as confidential, the Infrastructure division also designs and operates self-sufficient IT environments within the Hensoldt Group.

Your Tasks

  • Development of stable and future-proof cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure)
  • Architecture design, setup and further development of a multi-hybrid cloud
  • Participation and coordination in the migration of existing applications to a cloud environment
  • Automatic provisioning of cloud services and infrastructure as code provisioning tools (IaaC)
  • Monitoring of the cloud infrastructure and cost development, diagnosis of performance bottlenecks and development of optimization proposals

Your Profile

  • Successfully completed studies (business informatics, computer science, industrial engineering), training in computer science or comparable qualification with professional experience
  • Several years of experience in the cloud environment and automation using the example of Terraform, CloudFormation and Ansible
  • Knowledge of Windows, Linux, Docker, Kubernetes, CI / CD pipelines, monitoring, network and security
  • Independent, service- and solution-oriented way of working as well as strong analytical and conceptual skills
  • Communication and teamwork skills
  • Fluent German and good English skills
