Overview:
We are seeking a Cloud Engineer with strong Azure experience to join our dynamic team. As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, deploying, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructures tailored to the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, and Construction) industry’s specific needs. This role is key in modernizing and optimizing our infrastructure to support advanced AEC software solutions.
In this role, you will work closely with development teams and product managers to ensure that our cloud environments meet enterprise performance, reliability, and security standards. If you have prior DevOps or SysAdmin experience, this is an ideal opportunity to leverage those skills as a foundational stepping stone into a Cloud Engineer role.

• Certifications: Azure Solutions Architect or similar.
• Familiarity with DevOps methodologies, including continuous integration and delivery practices.
• Project management skills or experience working in Scrum/Agile teams.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure to support AEC software applications, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, DevOps, SysAdmins, and Product Management to align cloud architecture with business needs and workflows.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain cloud resources primarily on Azure, but with potential integrations into AWS platforms as needed.
• Automate cloud infrastructure using tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation to ensure efficiency and repeatability.
• Migrate legacy applications and systems to the cloud, optimizing for performance, cost, and compliance across various environments.
• Monitor cloud environments using Azure Monitor, AWS CloudWatch, or other relevant tools to track performance, availability, and security incidents.
• Support the implementation of AEC industry software, such as BIM (Building Information Modeling), CAD, and other project management tools, by optimizing the cloud infrastructure for these workflows.
• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the deployment of infrastructure and software, ensuring smooth delivery and updates.

Responsibilities:

• 3+ years of experience managing cloud services on Azure, with solid experience in cloud infrastructure design.
• Proven experience in designing and maintaining cloud-based infrastructure for enterprise-scale applications.
• Hands-on experience with cloud architecture best practices, including security, scalability, and performance optimization.
• Experience in DevOps or SysAdmin roles, with a focus on automation and infrastructure management in cloud environments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and cloud automation tools
• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar tools for cloud deployment
