POSITION OVERVIEW
Come aboard the Bear Force as a Cloud Engineer within our dynamic Global IT Infrastructure team characterized by innovation, creativity, and building. In this position, you won’t just be working closely with the IT infrastructure team but also collaborating with partners from Operations, Security, and Communications departments to operate and enhance our Global IT Infrastructure. Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain cloud-based infrastructure solutions with a focus on high availability, scalability, and fault tolerance, while optimizing for performance and cost efficiency.
- Collaborate with engineering, operations, and business teams to design and deploy robust digital solutions aligned with business goals and industry benchmark processes.
- Advance our architecture of *aaS solutions, provide expert-level support, and optimize container architecture
- Design and develope architectural solutions maintaining infrastructure and application-level security throughout our environment
- Apply experience and tooling to manage cloud costs according to dynamic business and customer demand
- Own Identity and Access engine and policies
- Lead migration efforts of resources from on-premises to cloud platforms, ensuring seamless transitions and minimal disruptions.
- Research and recommend best-fit services to optimize our mutli-cloud environment
- Manage virtual networking in global cloud environments, ensuring robust connectivity and performance.
- Provide infrastructure support for cloud systems, including Azure, AWS, and GCP, as well as vSphere and Windows/Linux/Unix systems.
- Action and resolve high complexity/high-severity operational tickets in a timely fashion.
