We’re now looking for a talented and forward-thinking Cloud Engineer to join our team and play a vital role in scaling and optimizing the cloud infrastructure that powers our player experiences.

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Cloud Engineer at Lockwood Publishing, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing robust, secure, and scalable cloud infrastructure. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-performance services, build automated pipelines, and ensure smooth operation of backend services. The ideal candidate is passionate about cloud technologies, infrastructure automation, and continuous improvement.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cloud Infrastructure:


    • Provision, monitor, maintain, and scale secure and highly available cloud infrastructure.

    • Optimize cloud infrastructure performance and ensure systems are secure and resilient.
    • Continuous Integration & Delivery:


      • Build and improve Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.

      • Implement efficient deployment strategies to enhance release processes.
      • Database Administration:


        • Troubleshoot, maintain, and optimize cloud-hosted databases.

        • Ensure database performance and availability through proactive monitoring and tuning.
        • Automation & Documentation:


          • Automate infrastructure provisioning and operations to drive efficiency.

          • Maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure and services.
          • Collaboration & Troubleshooting:


            • Collaborate with development and product teams to ensure infrastructure meets business and player needs.

            • Diagnose and resolve complex network and system issues in a Linux environment.
