WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU (REQUIRED)

• U.S. Citizenship required (NO EXCEPTIONS).
• A minimum of 3+ years of experience in cloud engineering, architecture, or administration.
• Experience with AWS and/or Azure cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices.
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Applied knowledge of DevSecOps practices and principles such as continuous improvement, automation, CI/CD, and shift left.
• Familiarization with cloud migration strategies and roadmap development.
• Superb verbal and written communication skills. Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical audiences throughout an organization.
• Certification: AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, or HashiCorp Certified Terraform Associate (or similar professional cloud certification).

EDUCATION LEVEL

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or computer information systems, or related 4-year degree required

ROLE SUMMARY

MetaPhase Consulting is seeking a Cloud Engineer with 3+ years of experience to support a critical project by providing cloud infrastructure expertise. This role involves designing, implementing, and optimizing secure cloud environments that align with business objectives and security best practices.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

• Designing and implementing cloud solutions using AWS and/or Azure platforms.
• Ensuring best practices for cloud security, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate cloud infrastructure with applications.
• Automating deployment and management of cloud resources.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting cloud-based applications and infrastructure.
• Assessing applications for cloud readiness and recommending cloud migration strategies.
• Conducting comprehensive performance testing.
