Description:

TO QUALIFY FOR THIS POSITION, APPLICANTS MUST DOCUMENT ON THE APPLICATION THAT THEY POSSESS ALL OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • Demonstrated knowledge of public cloud players such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure and/or Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and their product portfolio
  • Demonstrated knowledge of IT financial management, cloud financial management and/or cost management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of cloud services contracts such as infrastructure (IaaS), Platform (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS) in a cloud native solution, fully managed solution, or a hybrid of the two

MINIMUM EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology or a closely related field from an appropriately accredited institution and two years of progressive experience in business consultation related to information technology products;
or
Associate degree in computer science, information technology, or closely related field from an appropriately accredited institution and three years of progressive experience with a focus on business consultation related to information technology products;
or
an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and analyze monthly billing data sets and work closely with finance billing team to invoice customers.
  • Participate in creating a cloud cost model strategy for mitigating future cloud costs that includes engagements with customers of NCDIT cloud environment.
  • Work collaboratively with cloud operations and business relationship management teams to explain technology, finance, and cloud economics, including cloud cost model changes, to customers
