Description:

WE HAVE AN EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED CLOUD INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER TO JOIN OUR BUSINESS AS WE CONTINUE TO SCALE.

We are seeking a forward-thinking Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to architect, manage, and optimize our cloud environments in line with evolving business requirements. You will leverage cutting-edge cloud technologies and best-in-class security practices to ensure high availability, scalability, and performance. This role demands an expert who not only understands modern trends - such as multi-cloud strategies, container orchestration, serverless architectures, and AIOps - but also knows how to adopt them effectively to drive innovation.
A key aspect of this position is safeguarding our cloud infrastructure through robust security measures, particularly Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Zero Trust principles. Compliance with industry standards, including ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials, is critical to our mission. If you are passionate about cloud technology, especially with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and ready to drive business growth through agile, secure, and innovative solutions, we invite you to join our team.

  • Proficiency in Entra AD & Office 365 Configuration, strong knowledge of Microsoft’s modern identity and access solutions, including configuration best practices
  • Cross-Platform OS Knowledge and experience administering Windows 10/11, macOS, and Linux environments
  • User Support & High-Level Troubleshooting experience and track record of providing first- and second-line support, solving complex technical issues efficiently
  • Experience with Cloud Infrastructure Management and competency in containerization, serverless computing, and setting up secure networking in Azure and GCP environments
  • Demonstrable knowledge of ISO 27001 and Cyber Essentials frameworks, including the ability to maintain compliance through continuous improvements and audits

The following would be advantageous:

  • Cloud & Security Certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator/Architect, Azure Security Engineer, Google Cloud Certified Professional Cloud Architect, CompTIA Security+) demonstrating expertise in cloud and security
  • Networking & IAM Security such as familiarity with Zero Trust Architecture, network segmentation, and IAM best practices to protect multi-cloud workloads
  • Proficiency in scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and DevOps tooling (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Terraform) for infrastructure automation in Azure and GCP
  • Experience with Disaster Recovery & Backup Strategies and proven ability to design and test backup and DR solutions in compliance with business continuity requirements
  • Experience with Ticketing & Support Systems and managing 1st- and 2nd-line support through modern ticketing systems and incident management processes
