Description:
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Experience in leading technical and multi-discipline teams
- Experience with AWS testing tools, such as AWS CloudWatch for monitoring, AWS CodePipeline for CI/CD integration, and other relevant AWS tools for automation.
- Experience with tools like JMeter, Gatling, or LoadRunner to simulate loads and test performance in the cloud.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Java, Bash) to automate test cases.
- Conduct a thorough impact assessment of transitioning our architecture to AWS Outposts, covering functional and non-functional impacts across business and technical domains.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across all towers to gather requirements, understand dependencies, and evaluate potential impacts on functionality and performance.
- Identify and document gaps, potential risks, and mitigation strategies associated with migrating to AWS Outposts.
- Prepare a detailed report of assessment findings, including impact analysis, testing results, risk assessment, and recommended next steps.
- Manage code repositories using Git and ensure version control best practices are followed.
- Utilize Jenkins for continuous integration and deployment pipelines to streamline the release process.
- Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members to foster skill development and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on testing strategies and priorities.
- The candidate must be eligible for Security Clearance (SC) for this project. This requires a minimum of five consecutive years of residency in the UK, with no single period of absence from the country exceeding 28 days during that time.
MANDATORY SKILLS
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Java, JavaScript, PHP, and HTML to ensure the quality and reliability of our software products.
- Experience with API tools such as Postman, RestAssured and Insomnia.
- Familiarity with Grafana and Splunk for monitoring and analyzing system performance.
- Expertise in Agile methodologies and working within CI/CD environments.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
