ABOUT THIS OPPORTUNITY
We are now looking for Cloud Solution Architect, who will be analyzing, designing, solutioning, customizing and delivering end-to-end Cloud platform solutions for our North American customers. As part of the role, you will be responsible for onboarding of the commercially available product and open-source product to our customers. You will also be providing profitable business for Ericsson by translating customer needs, and technology opportunities into detailed offerings, solutions, and implementation.

THE SKILLS YOU BRING:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Science/Engineering. MBA Preferred.
- 7-10+ years of overall experience working in IT industry
- At least 3+ years working as Solution Architect in the Cloud domain of Private and/or Public Cloud.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills in Linux, Virtualization, Container technologies such as Kubernetes and Docker, Networking (CNIs Calico/Multus), Heat templates, Ansible and Helm Charts
- Hands-on experience in Cloud Networking, L2/L3 networking protocols, Calico, MetalLB and LoadBalancer concepts
- Proficient in documenting Test Results and Root-Cause-Analysis
- Hands-on experience configuring and troubleshooting Juniper and Extreme Switches and Routers
- Good experience working with HTTP(S), TCP/IP, REST API and other Internet protocols
- Worked with Cloud Storage backend technologies such as Ceph, Cinder, Manila, iSCSI and/or ZFS
- Expertise in YAML, Linux commands and Shell scripting
- Good understanding of the Cloud Native Security principles and open source tool
- Knowledge of Datacenter Design, Networking and CLOS Topology
- Be active in CNCF, Openstack and other Open Source Communities to find resolution
- Have familiarity and working experience with opensource software / Github projects
- Have familiarity with Go and Python programming

Responsibilities:
- Analyze customer requirement, define solutions and help with a list of potential activities for deploying Ericsson and 3rd party cloud platform and ensure applications (5GC and others) are on-boarded on the platform
- Develop solution proposals with alternatives, and perform customer presentations
- Analyze requirement and prepare design to meet customer requirements
- Help team be successful and work along with Ericsson Off-shore and Product R&D team for any defects / issues encountered.
- Play an integral role in advancing delivery and exceeding customer expectations.
- Keep abreast of new technology/technical areas and share information about the solution to enable customer competence build
