Description:
OPPORTUNITY SNAPSHOT:
We are building an AI Factory team responsible for provisioning, maintaining, and supporting services that enable the development and deployment of AI applications into production, in addition to supporting AI tooling used by engineering teams.
The Cloud Platform DevOps Engineer is responsible for building and maintaining a robust AI platform and handling DevOps-related activities (including test, build, and release infrastructure) for AI solutions implemented into the production system. They will also maintain a robust, stable cloud-hosting container platform for application environments.
This role will include designing and implementing processes and tools to support continuous integration, delivery, and testing. The DevOps Engineer will be a proponent of good software engineering standards and practices.
The ideal candidate will have experience and/or certifications in Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery, DevOps Azure, some Kubernetes, and SCRUM.
QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING
- CI/CD Continuous Integration, Delivery and DevOps experience in – Microsoft Technologies, Azure DevOps
- Proven track record of leading and delivering successful AI projects, from conception to deployment, preferably in a consulting environment.
- Strong programming skills in C#, and .Net Core, Phyton scripting, with experience in developing and deploying AI models on Azure.
- Experience with MS Azure Platform and RESTful APIs
- Knowledge of C# and .Net Framework, Strong PowerShell scripting
- Experience in deploying PaaS solutions, API’s, and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) to Azure
- Hands-on experience with Container technology like Docker, Kubernetes, AKS
- Automation for build and release management - automate and streamline operations and processes.
- Release Management utilizing Azure DevOps/VSTS mandatory
- Software development and Configuration management automation
- Proven experience in build management and automation on multiple platforms Windows, Unix (Solaris and Linux)
- Excellent Scripting Skills (PowerShell, Shell and Python)
- Experience with monitoring tools and tuning monitoring and alerting to minimise distributions and be confident of service delivery.
