As a Cloud Security Assessment Specialist, you will be working for our client, a leading global financial institution dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance in cloud services. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all cloud-hosted services meet stringent security controls before transitioning to production. Your expertise will help drive continuous improvement in cloud security processes, safeguard the institution’s technology, and support the implementation of advanced cybersecurity strategies.

Responsibilities:

YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Conducting technical Cloud Security Assessment reviews through Service Now
  • Providing Cloud Security consultancy support to customers and facilitating their services’ transition to production
  • Driving continuous and ongoing process improvement within the team, focusing on automation and data-driven enhancements
  • Understanding and applying relevant Cloud security controls
  • Meeting performance targets set by the Cloud Security Assessment Lead
  • Contributing to the institution’s Cybersecurity strategy to secure internal technology while enhancing values, reputation, and stakeholder value
  • Ensuring effective engagement with Global Businesses, Functions, and Regions
  • Staying updated on industry trends and best practices, advocating for beneficial changes and adoption

YOU’RE IDEAL FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE:

  • Strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in Google Cloud Platform and at least one other Cloud platform (AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Alibaba Cloud)
  • Working knowledge of software development tools and technologies (Python, Bash, PowerShell, SQL) and data formats (XML, JSON, CSV)
  • Understanding of risk and control frameworks
  • Strong customer focus with a passion for delivering the best customer experience
  • Ability to build strong relationships with application teams, cross-functional IT, global, and local IT teams at all levels
  • Self-motivation, proactivity, high personal integrity, and a strong work ethic
  • Strong technical problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Influential, credible, and persuasive communication skills, embracing the client’s values and demonstrating good judgment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of articulating complex information meaningfully to varied audiences and stakeholders
