Position: Cloud Security & Compliance Architect (AWS) - This position has many names; DevOps & Infrastructure Engineer,Lead DevOps Engineer, Infrastructure Consultant, Security & Engineering Manager, Platform Engineer, Cloud Engineer, Cloud Architect, DevSecOps, Infrastructure Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer (SRE), Cloud Consultant. As we continue to innovate and expand, we’re seeking an exceptional Cloud Security and Compliance Architect to join our engineering team. This pivotal role will focus on architecting, implementing, and securing our AWS-based infrastructure while ensuring compliance with PCI DSS standards.

ADDITIONAL TECHNICAL SKILLS

Responsibilities:

ROLE OVERVIEW

In this role, you’ll lead the design and management of our cloud infrastructure, ensuring operational excellence, scalability, and compliance. You’ll be a key contributor to our technical strategy, enabling the seamless deployment of secure and efficient systems.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Cloud Infrastructure Design: Architect and manage scalable, resilient AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation.
  • CI/CD Pipelines: Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable deployments.
  • Security Leadership:
  • Implement and oversee security initiatives, including patch management strategies.
  • Drive compliance with PCI DSS requirements, ensuring that all systems and processes adhere to standards.
  • Automate security controls and monitor compliance.
  • Collaborate with external PEN testing teams and address findings effectively.
  • Kubernetes Management: Maintain and expand Kubernetes infrastructure, including containerised environments for legacy application migrations.
  • Database Operations: Manage and optimise AWS RDS operations, including scaling, version upgrades, and ensuring high availability.
  • Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and backup solutions.
  • Cost Optimisation: Monitor and optimise AWS infrastructure costs without compromising performance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the technical team to align infrastructure with best practices and evolving business needs.
