EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in cybersecurity, computer science, systems engineering, or related field. Equivalent work experience is accepted
  • Certifications not required, but encouraged: Azure AI Engineer Associate, AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate, CISSP, CCNA, CCSP, CCIE Security, or other security-related certifications
  • Demonstrate strong organizational and leadership capabilities

EXPERIENCE

  • 7+ years of systems administration experience
  • 3 - 5 years of shown experience in handling a large scale AWS environment
  • 1 - 3 years of cloud security operations experience for a large-scale company
  • In-depth knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
  • In-depth knowledge with building, managing, and securing solutions in AWS
  • Experience with implementing and running security controls in cloud environments
  • Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks (e.g., CIS benchmarks, NIST, ISO 27001)
  • Strong organization skills, leading sophisticated projects

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES

  • Excellent understanding of AWS, and Azure cloud services and infrastructure, with hands-on experience in implementing secure solutions
  • Experience in conducting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies within a multicloud environment
  • Strong knowledge of AWS principles and tools, such as EC2, VPC and IAM
  • Experience in CI\CD tools such as GitHub, GitHub Actions, and Jenkins
  • Strong problem-solving in both ambiguous and tactical situations with a bias for action
  • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Dedication to excellence, high-quality standards, and attention to detail
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging threats, and standard methodologies in cloud security.
  • Hands-on experience using and/or configuration of one or more of the following, are a plus
  • Powershell
  • Terraform
  • Splunk
  • Python
