Description:

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently looking for an experienced Cloud Services Analyst (2nd Line) to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be part of a predominately UK-based team. However, this role will manage IT systems for IES in North America.

THE CANDIDATE

We are looking for an experienced Cloud Services Analyst with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, you will be a confident communicator with the ability to handle multiple assignments.
You should have an IT qualification to degree level (or relevant alternative professional accreditation) and a desire to further your professional qualifications.
Skills include the following:

ESSENTIAL SKILLS:

  • Azure experience
  • Office 365
  • Virtual Machine hosting & management
  • Multi - site Active Directory administration

DESIRABLE SKILLS:

  • Microsoft Intune
  • Terminal Services / VDI
  • VoIP experience
  • Experience with software development build environments
  • Cyber security
  • Firewall management
  • Microsoft Certification
  • Disaster recovery

Responsibilities:

  • Installation, support, monitoring, and maintenance of Azure Cloud Resources
  • Migration of systems from on premise and ISP hosted to Azure Cloud Services
  • Test/Dev environment installation, support, monitoring, and maintenance, including Microsoft Technologies, Traditional Networking, Server Hardware, and Storage Infrastructure
  • Assist with installation, support, monitoring, and maintenance of virtualisation technologies.
  • Provide support and technical escalation for the IT Service Desk teams. The successful candidate will support our growing staff in North America and will hold core hours to facilitate that requirement.
  • Investigate and resolve problems in systems and services to minimise downtime, and carry out subsequent root cause analysis
  • Provide technical input to IT projects where appropriate, including collaboration in design, implementation, change and support handover
  • Collaborating with other Infrastructure and Departmental teams to help maintain, improve and protect the Department’s IT systems
  • From time-to-time other duties may need to be performed as necessary to assist Integrated Environmental Solutions Limited.
