As a Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) - Compliance, you will enable customers to achieve their outcomes, based on their investments in Microsoft technology. Leveraging your Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure technical subject matter expertise you will lead technical conversations with customers to drive value from their Microsoft (MS) investments, including identifying resolutions to issues blocking customer success projects. This role is flexible in that you can work up to 50% from home.

REQUIRED/MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 7+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
  • OR equivalent experience.

ADDITIONAL OR PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 12+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
  • OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
  • OR equivalent experience. Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications). 6+ years experience leading technical projects. 6+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
  • Deep knowledge of solution architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of Cloud and/or hybrid messaging/collaboration/unified environments.
  • Certification in one or more of the following technologies preferred: Microsoft Azure fundamentals, Power Platforms, Microsoft 365 Messaging, M365 fundamentals, Cloud Security, Microsoft Teams, Teams Voice, and SharePoint Certifications.
  • Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior IT executives in large or highly strategic accounts. Experience in managing various stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects.
  • Developing technical solutions and ability to design, customize, or reapply technical solutions based on customer/partner needs or demands.
  • Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with competent verbal and written communication skills. Presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences (Senior Executives, Messaging/collaboration/Network/Security administrators, and solution architecture teams).
  • Foundational-level knowledge of cloud services, such as standard practices, considerations, and benefits.
  • Domain experience Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure solutions, and understanding of how Microsoft Security, compliance, and identity solutions can span across these solution areas to provide a holistic and end-to-end solution.
  • Technical experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructures, architecture designs, migrations, and technology management required.
  • Breadth of technical experience and knowledge, with depth / Subject Matter Expertise in two or more of the following M365 solutions:
  • M365 Copilot
  • Microsoft Teams, Teams Phone & Rooms
  • Exchange Online and Defender for O365
  • SharePoint Online & Viva platform
  • Power Platform Solutions
  • Endpoint Device Management
  • Identity and Access Management
  • Zero Trust strategies including:
  • Zero trust Foundations
  • Defend Against Threats
  • Protect and Govern Sensitive Data
  • M365 Apps for Enterprise
    Cloud Solution Architecture IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across Canada is CAD $121,800 - CAD $219,100 per year.

Responsibilities:

The Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) - compliance position is to provide Microsoft customers with reliable technical solutions to the complex integration problems associated with business solutions built on the Microsoft platform. The CSA role supports a diverse variety of technical Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Azure solutions. Typical tasks performed in this role include specific problem isolation and correction, user mode debugging, conducting application design and supportability reviews, performance tuning, market best practices planning and execution, troubleshooting, and porting/migration assistance, configuration management, pre-rollout testing, general IT support consulting and architecture design.
