As a Cloud Solution Architect Data & AI, you will enable customers to achieve their outcomes, based on their investments in Microsoft technology. Leveraging your Microsoft Azure and Data & AI (or Analytics) technical subject matter expertise you will lead technical conversations with customers to drive value from their MS investments, including identifying resolutions to issues blocking customer success projects. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field
• OR equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience in a senior role, focussed on cloud/Data platform & AI or Analytics technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
• OR equivalent experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND several years of experience in cloud/Data & AI or Analytics technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
• OR Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND several years of experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
• OR equivalent experience.
• Several years of experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
• Severals years of experience working on Data & AI or Analytics technical projects.
• Technical Certification in Cloud (e.g., Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google, security certifications).

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Understand customers’ overall data estate Business and IT priorities and success measures to design Data & AI, or Analytics solutions that drive business value.
• Apply technical knowledge to architect and design solutions that meet business and IT needs, create Data & AI, or Analytics roadmaps, drive POCs and MVPs, and ensure long term technical viability of new deployments, infusing key AI technologies where appropriate.
• Ensure that solution exhibits high levels of performance, security, scalability, maintainability, repeatability, appropriate reusability, and reliability upon deployment
• Be the Voice of Customer to share insights and best practices, connect with Engineering team to remove key blockers and drive product improvements
• Maintain technical skills and knowledge, keeping up to date with market trends and competitive insights; collaborate and share with the Data & AI, or Analytics technical community while educating customers on Azure platform
• You understand industry trends and the competitor’s architecture solutions and identify Microsoft’s strengths over competitive solutions to drive conversations with customers/partners and convince them of the solution.
• You generate new ideas for changes and improvements to existing intellectual property (IP), technologies, and processes for designated customers/partners. You share ideas, insights, and strategic technical input with technical teams, internal communities across the field, and the larger virtual team across Microsoft, using a thorough knowledge of specific Microsoft products and their context in the competitive landscape.
