Description:

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Three or more years of experience inside the Azure cloud environment
  • Ambition to improve Azure platform skills
  • Working knowledge of configuration tools
  • Good knowledge of monitoring tools
  • Certificate management
  • Understanding of containerization
  • Able to work well within a team or independently.
  • Willing to collaborate with other support areas to provide issue resolution.
  • Experience with software release management and infrastructure support

PREFERRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • College diploma (or equivalent experience) in a technical, cloud related field.
  • Knowledge of web services, API, REST, and RPC
  • Microsoft Azure certifications

Responsibilities:

  • Provide white glove support to various customers (internal and external)
  • Support the implementation, running and upgrading of our software products on Azure
  • Identify and resolve issues with applications and cloud platform, following agreed procedures.
  • Analyse how customers use the system and collaborate with internal departments to identify patterns so that our Product management, Platform and Development teams can address them
  • Proactively monitor and optimise alerts and/or notifications and address the issue or work with other teams/vendor/partners to resolve until resolution.
  • Investigate causes (root cause analysis) of incidents and seek resolution, escalating as appropriate.
  • Document and close resolved incidents according to agreed procedures, in our internal application
  • Analyses causes of incidents, and provide recommendations in order to minimise probability of recurrence, and contribute to service improvement
  • Initiate and monitor actions to anticipate, investigate and resolve problems in systems, processes and services.
  • Automate management of all application components using available automation tools.
  • Manage code deployments and environment sizing changes to controlled environments in a controlled, auditable manner.
