Description:
SUMMARY
The Ottawa Titans are looking for a dedicated, reliable and self-sufficient Clubhouse Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the home, visitor, and umpire clubhouses. The Clubhouse Manager reports directly to the General Manager and will work closely with the Titans front office staff and Titans on-field Manager. The Clubhouse Manager role is part-time, seasonal, beginning at the end of April and working until the final game of the season, including playoffs. The work schedule follows the home baseball schedule. The Clubhouse Manager will remain employed until all the equipment owned by the Titans has been inventoried and stored properly and until the home, visitor, and umpire clubhouses have been returned to their original state.
REQUIREMENTS
- Desire to work in the sports industry and specifically in a field related to clubhouse/equipment management
- Willingness and ability to take on seasonal work and a variable schedule including late nights and weekends
- Ability to work all Titans home games
- Ability to work independently and self-motivate, problem solve, think outside the box, and work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize goals
- High level of integrity
- Strong people skills
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Canadian citizenship/residency or valid work permit
- Minimum G2 (Ontario) or higher licence
- Access to a vehicle
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
- Clubhouse/Equipment attendant experience required

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain a safe and professional clubhouse
- Oversee and ensure clubhouse security, maintenance and cleanliness
- Acquire necessary groceries for preparing healthy meals within staff guidelines, including setting up snack and pre/post-game meals
- Acquire necessary toiletries and lavatory supplies as needed
- Pack equipment, supplies and uniforms for all road trips
- Maintain equipment and equipment inventory
- Meet laundry needs for players and coaches in a timely manner
- Prepare and maintain budget for clubhouse operations
- Monitor clubhouse cleaning and personnel to assure top notch cleanliness and appearance
- Meet all Frontier League guidelines for Clubhouse operations
- Other duties as assigned by coaches and management
