Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

As the Cluster Information Technology Manager, you will be responsible for the IT Department to ensure the quality and delivery of IT systems for both the hotel and its Guests. The Cluster Information Technology Manager for 3 Full-Service Hotels is responsible for the implementation of Information Technology (IT) in the hotels following Hilton’s IT strategies and priorities, as well as measuring IT costs, benefits and performance in the hotel and providing this information to hotel management and the Regional IT leadership. These efforts will be fulfilled timely, within budget, and following IT operating standards, especially in the following duties:

  • System and Procedures: Ensure the highest possible IT service is provided to the agreed standards and best practices.
  • Security and Compliance: Maintain standards and best practices following Hilton policies and procedures.
  • Communication and Partnering Skills: Work with Business Management to expedite access and better utilisation of information including providing mentorship, training and development opportunities to the current team members.
  • IT Project Management: Plan, manage and execute IT projects. Responsible for defining project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.

To successfully fill this role, you should maintain the attitude, behaviours, skills, and values that follow:

  • University degree, majoring in IT, relevant certificate/s and or 5 + years of professional work experience in technology or related field
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a hotel environment,
  • Hotel operations experience is advantageous
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Strong administration and communication skills
  • Proficiency, at an intermediate to advanced level, with computers and computer programs, including Microsoft programs.
  • Have full New Zealand working rights (no sponsorship is offered)
  • Ideally, be physically based in the Aucklan
