QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or Furniture Design.
  • Experience: 5-10 years in consumer product design or equivalent experience; 2-3 years in a CMF design role preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in 3D modeling systems (e.g., Creo, SolidWorks) is beneficial but not required. Familiarity with KeyShot, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator is advantageous.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE AT DELTA FAUCET COMPANY:

As an Industrial Designer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing color, finish, and materials (CMF) strategies across our brand portfolio. You will gather and analyze trend data, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and actively engage in design work for Delta and Brizo branded products. This position offers a dynamic blend of creative challenges and opportunities, ensuring a stimulating and rewarding career.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Research and Trend Analysis: Conduct research on consumer lifestyle trends and product design to inform cohesive CMF strategies and enhance product branding.
  • Collaboration: Engage with external consultancies and internal teams to explore innovative CMF technologies with a strategic outlook.
  • Insight Synthesis: Analyze and synthesize research findings to uncover insights that inspire design.
  • Expertise and Leadership: Serve as the internal expert on new CMF developments, supporting the creation of advanced material samples and production standards.
  • Project Management: Oversee CMF project schedules and lead research events to validate project directions.
  • Design and Mentorship: Manage individual design projects, mentor team members, and participate in design reviews and critique sessions.
  • Innovation and Patents: Identify new opportunities, present unsolicited concepts, and create design patents.
