CMM Programmer - Inspection Technician

DEMONSTRATED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of relevant experience OR Advance degree and 3 years

of relevant experience OR in absence of a degree, 7 years of relevant experience is required

• Experience in ISO TS 16949 (minimum ISO 9001)
• Minimum of 3 years of Quality Assurance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Completed CMM operation and programming training for software mentioned above
• Minimum 2 years of CMM programming experience and capability
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings and specifications
• High competency and understanding of GD&T
• Experienced in Measurement System Analysis (i.e. gauge R&R)
• Able to operate CMM in both manual and program mode
• Fully competent in the use of tools and gauges to inspect machined parts and features

as well as assemblies

• Write programs for the CMM / on Calypso (Zeiss Prismo) and MCOSMOS (Mitutoyo Strato Apex) Experience in creating programs with this two software is required / mandatory
• Creation and introduction of a dynamic incoming goods inspection system, including creation of the necessary documentation and link to SAP
• Will be required to evaluate products for acceptance to specific criteria, initiate
  rejection process where required, complete diverse paperwork and system records

for traceability and movement of products

• Able to work under minimum supervision in a team environment is essential as well as

apply 5S workplace organization and Just in Time principals for Continuous Improvement

• Must also possess good organizational and decision-making skills to ensure completion of paperwork and computerized tasks
• Adhere to all rules and regulations of SHW
• Adhere to all applicable Business Operating Systems Procedures
• Any other reasonable request made by Management
