Responsibilities:
- Provides the vision, leadership, and coaching needed to develop and maintain the competencies, performance, and collaboration of plant supervisors and departmental employees.
- Drives positive change in all aspects of plant operations including quality, costs, delivery, safety and housekeeping by using continuous improvement tools, methodologies and shop floor metrics.
- Works close with all departments including production, quality, OpEx, maintenance, purchasing, sales and Customer Service to ensure that operations of the company support company goals.
- Provides leadership and coaching to the production team in the area of employee relations which includes employee performance management and related disciplinary actions.
- Establishes and monitors overall plant performance for production and quality standards.
- Reviews production costs and product quality and modifies production and inventory control programs to maintain and enhance profitable operation of the division.
- Seeks ways to streamline processes and to ensure efficient accurate use of resources.
- Implements and supports programs and policies of the Company.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed.
- Regular and predictable attendance averaging a minimum of 8 hours per day
- Safely performs tasks and adheres to all safety policies and procedures. “Leads by example” at all times
