QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Technical certification or vocational training in CNC machining is an asset.
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the cement or stone industry.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and overtime as needed.
- Physically fit and ability to lift heavy materials up to 40 lbs.
- Have a valid driver’s license and must be a permanent resident and citizen of Canada.
- Forklift experience is an asset.
- Comfortable working at heights and noisy environment.

Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC machines including lathes, mills, and routers to fabricate parts according to specifications.
- Utilize CNC programming software to input machining instructions, adjust tooling, and optimize production processes.
- Monitor production processes, inspect finished parts for accuracy and quality, and make adjustments as necessary to maintain standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines, troubleshoot equipment issues, and coordinate repairs with maintenance staff when needed.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
- Coordinate with other team members, including supervisors, engineers, and quality control personnel, to ensure efficient production and resolve any issues that arise.
